Warranty Information
We guarantee our products for one year on all parts and labor. Keyboards and mice
have 30 day warranty only, however most of our products come with extended three
year, five year, and even lifetime manufacturer warrantees. All warranty work is to be
done "in-store". Any warranty work provided outside the store will incur current hourly
labor charges.
- Computer systems are warranted for one (1) year from date of purchase through
Cape Cod Computer, Inc. (CCC).
- Warranty is on hardware only and does not include reinstallation of software
and data.
- All products "outside of the CCC warranty" but "inside the
manufacturer's extended warranty" are the sole responsibility of the
customer.
- A CCC sales receipt must accompany all claims.
- Memory is warranted for one year - exchange only
- Monitors are subject to RMA shipping charges and must be in original shipping
box.
- Keyboards and mice are warranted for thirty (30) days.
- All returned parts and systems must have CCC parts ID sticker intact and
unaltered.
- Hardware tech support is available while items are under warranty to CCC.
- CCC must perform all warranty work.
- Any services, including pick-up and delivery, performed outside of the store
are billable at current service rates.
- CCC may substitute replacement parts if defective product is discontinued by
manufacturer
- CCC elects to repair or replace defective product.
WARRANTY DOES NOT INCLUDE
- Software not supplied with the machine
- Networking and cabling
- Parts, service, or upgrades done by a third party
- Accident, transportation, neglect, theft, misuse, water damage, electrical
surge or other acts of God
- Problems relating to users inability to use the product or software
- Problems related to or caused by software not supplied with the machine at
time of purchase
- Debris and spills which necessitate cleaning of mice, keyboards, and other
external or internal parts
